7.5 inches of solid iron with the stamp “W.ROSE” on the side, when I saw this piece, I knew it would make a magnificent tamper. I have no idea what this would have been originally used for, but weighing in at 8.8 ounces, it is a beast and a beauty all at once. Use both ends for tamping and the small end for clearing the end of the bowl. Only one of these in the world.
