Donum, or, the gift, is easily one of the strangest pieces of late. Beginning with a pre-molded hand, Donum’s maimed bone white acrylic stem feeds into a delrin tube that runs the length of the hand and into the bottom of the Italian briar bowl, leaving the shank with no purpose whatsoever. The Monstrosity “M” metal logo plaque is sunken into the side of the shank.
